Tee-ball season has officially started and Gordy's team had their first game today! They've only had 2 practices prior to the game, so it looked a little like beehive tee-ball. Every time someone hit a ball, the entire field of kids would run to it and pile on each other hoping to be the one who got it. But, the kids all had fun and were tuckered out afterwards, which is always the goal.
Gordy was so excited to be playing that he'd randomly wave to us from the field and if he managed to get the ball off the ground from someone else hitting it, he'd throw his arms up in the air afterwards in celebration.
He's not super thrilled about hitting yet, because he's not great at. But, he'll have plenty of time to practice during the rest of the season. Go Dodgers!
