SFO

I had to make a quick trip to San Francisco for work, and although I'm sure it would have been physically possible to leave my boys home alone, none of us were super excited about that idea.  So instead we decided that we would all go and we'd tack on a few days to the end of my work trip to spend some time with Todd's family.  It turned out to be such a great visit!

Gordy did really well at the airport (even though security took 30+ minutes to get through) and on the plane.
Once we made it to SFO, Todd and Gordy cruised around the city while I worked, hanging out with the sea lions at Pier 39 and riding trolleys with Tutu.
And then, once I finished working, more trolley rides and sea lions.
We even managed to recreate an old photo from when I was a kid with our little threesome.
As much fun as the city was, we were all pretty happy to spend some time in Piedmont with Gordy's Tutu, Pop Pop, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  We warmed ourselves up by the fire a few times, took warm/cozy naps, ate lots of yummy food, celebrated Pop Pop's birthday (a couple of times), had a fun baby play-date in the redwood forest, enjoyed great company, and did our best to keep warm!
One of the best things about our trip was watching Gordy and his cousin Adels play together.  They'd only met once before when Gordy was about a month old, but they seemed to become good friends pretty quickly :)
Before we hopped on our plane, we took one last ride on BART and said Aloha to Piedmont/SFO.
We were sad to say goodbye to our wonderful family, but we hope to see you all again soon!
